Digital Citizenship

Welcome!

Digital citizenship is becoming an uprising in the educational setting today. It is important that students have access to technology given the proper responsibilities and instructions of the use of the internet. This should be done in safe, responsible and legal ways (Roblyer, 2015). This responsibility is left up the educators in the school system.  Students are becoming more educated about technology, probably with more knowledge about technology than some teachers. However, students are more irresponsible and careless. That is the teachers job to educate the students and to prepare them for the world of technology. Here is a short video to introduce the concept and importance of digital citizenship.
